Where do I go to check in?

Our office is located at 210 LeMoyne Drive. We are 1/2 mile from the end of the bridge on the left. Look for the 2 story white office building. We are affiliated with Alabama Realty.

Are grocery stores on the Island?

There is a small, well stocked grocery stored on the island. There is a Wal-Mart Super Center located at the I-10/Rangeline Road Exit, about a 30 minute drive. A smaller grocery store is located on 193 South, about a 20 minute drive. The island also has two convenience stores.

Where can I rent a boat, jet ski, bicycle, chair, etc.?

Jet skis, parasailing, scooters, etc are available seasonally. Most vendor's are located at the public beach of the West end of the island.

May we have fireworks?

Fireworks are not allowed on the island. There is a annual public fireworks display on the 4th of July holiday.

Are fires allowed on the beach?

Open fires are not allowed on the beach in most cases. Check with the rental office for exceptions.

What happens if there is a tropical storm or hurricane during my stay?

No refunds will be made for early departures for mandatory hurricane evacuation orders or for unavailability of a rental home due to severe weather damage. Refunds may only be obtained through the Travel Insurance provider.

Are there public boat launches on the island?

The public launch is located at the East End of the island near the ferry landing. A second launch is located behind the Gulf Breeze motel for a small fee

What are the restaurants on the island?

There are restaurants on the island located in the center of the island in the commercial district, on the Gulf next to the golf course and near the public beach.

What happens if I leave an item behind?

If you leave an item in your rental unit, please contact us by phone or email and we will check to see if the item has been found. If it is located, we will return the item along and charge the shipping cost to the credit card on file.

Are linens provided? Can I bring my own?

All linens are provided - sheets, bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. We will also supply a check-out pack with enough laundry detergent for one load before leaving and one dishwasher tablet for last minute dishes. The cleaning staff will leave one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one hotel-sized soap per bathroom, and one new roll of paper towels and trash liners in the kitchen.

Can I have a dog on the beach?

Dogs are allowed on the island in compliance with our local leash laws. Dogs must be leashed on the beach.

Where are the closest golf courses?

Ask rental staff about other courses in the area.

Are wedding and wedding receptions allowed at the properties?

Weddings and wedding receptions are not allowed at our properties. Check with the rental office concerning local wedding planners and facilities.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation period is 90 days prior to your arrival. Refunds of deposits and/or prepaid rent less the $35 reservation fee will be given outside the 90 day mark. If cancellation occurs less than 90 days prior to arrival refunds can only be obtained through CSA Travel Insurance if trip insurance has been purchased by the renter. IRM will not refund any prepaid rent after 90 days prior to arrival.
